Mrs Haugen spoke to both H&A this morninng. They are doing great and send their love and appreciation for your prayers.
They have had no internet access and not a spare minute to upload the pictures and journal entries they have for you, but hope to be able in the next day or so.
They have been taken to many places by their host family and new friends. Andie was struck by the fact that you can go from 1st world to 3rd world in the space of a block. From houses with water to plywood shacks. The work with the children from the street and AIDS orphanage have been very rewarding, but it is against the law for them to even hold an HIV baby because they are under 18.
Hunter's computer skills go into action tomorrow. Mr Knowels is working on a computer that is probably 15 years old with Windows 3.1 and duct taped together. Hunter will set up his new machine and teach him how to use it. He has been praying for ways to use his skills in the field.
With transit time, and the toll that jet lag has taken, and the weekend off for church and meeting friends and family tomorrow is really their second full day of ministry work.
Everyone is very encouraged by their coming to help. They bring smiles - at one dinner every time they stood up the grandma would exclaim "they are so tall!" And everyone laughs ...
